Oil dipsticks for 4-stroke mopeds
Measuring is knowing. Regularly check your moped’s oil level with a dipstick to ensure optimal lubrication and temperature control.
How to check oil with a dipstick?
For most 4-stroke mopeds, use a dipstick to measure the oil. Hold the moped upright while the engine is cold and not running. Remove the dipstick and wipe it clean with a cloth. Dip the stick into the engine (without screwing it in) while keeping the moped upright. Remove the dipstick and check if the oil is between the markings. Too little oil can prevent the engine from cooling down and reduce lubrication. Too much oil can create excessive crankcase pressure, leading to oil loss while riding. Always follow the recommended oil quantity for your moped. Read more about oil in our blogs.
